As if ... void

This collection is inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s poem “Empty Space”, where emptiness is not seen as absence, but as possibility. What appears empty is often simply waiting to be filled by something meaningful. In life, we are sometimes so full — of routines, expectations, and habits — that we leave little room for surprise or change.
This idea also resonates with Chinese Taoist philosophy, where space and openness are essential for movement, balance, and imagination. Just as a vessel is useful because of the space it holds, the heart grows more generous when it allows room for new thoughts, people, and experiences.
Using the glass-like quality of upcycled plastic, this collection explores the idea of “as if” emptiness. Hand-sculpted organic forms interact with light and shadow, creating ever-changing patterns that shift depending on how they are worn and where they are seen. No two moments are the same.
The lightness and clarity of each piece offer an effortless wearing experience. They move easily with the body and pair naturally with different colours, moods, and occasions.
This collection invites you to enjoy the quiet beauty of being open. Leave space within yourself, and allow something unexpected to enter.
